Anyone heard of this whack job training dogs? Don Sullivan?
I have a Shih Tzu and they are not pretty arrogant. So I was looking for other books, tapes, etc.. To help with his training. My parents just trying to help me set training by one Don. Sullivan this. I be honest. I've never seen dog trainer actually promoting. neck yanking your dog every time they make mistakes.
Then I guess you have not seen many dog training works because many of them using this technique. I used to train half. Dozen of my own and working dogs. Called shock changes. I have two dogs now have a very good and when you finish basic training almost free and jerk. When you only hint merest reminder to dog training. I only need it every few months may be this. It is not the only thing that works but one of them. Since you speak of you. Dogs are not manners,. Maybe you could try. It does not need hard core flick. Not imply that all the injured dog to the dog is focused on the task at hand. Receive their attention. Just what is not satisfied that the results of a small dog does not do what they want and they learn that if they do right off the unpleasant. Good books and tapes, dog obedience class, but real-life best at least to start with. Some techniques are difficult to understand and make valid until you see them do.
