The idea of training to get my old dog to get a new dog.
Old Australian shepherd dog is a female. -9 Years. Puppy 8 months old German shepherd. Male. Old dog barks and growls at him. everytime they go near her. Not sure she is very afraid of him since he's bigger than her. But I didn't know that anyone has any suggestions for training. I prefer if they both will be in the same room together and play outside.
My older GSD (9 years ago) and recommended month. 6 old GSD / malamute puppy for her. She is not pleased with his first and bark,. nipping, growling something about one week to one-half weeks. I left them running out and before you know them. Would love to play and sleep together. Time to adjust to the old dog and they will determine who the alpha. I bet it will be an old dog. Give them time to work it. Apart.
